Rapper Yella Beezy from Dallas is accused of hiring a hitman to murder fellow artist Mo3.

    • Conway was arrested on Thursday and is being held in the Dallas County Jail. A bond has not been set.

DALLAS: In 2020, a rapper from Dallas was arrested for allegedly hiring a hitman to murder another rapper.

What we know: According to court documents acquired by Usa News Today, a Dallas County grand jury formally accused Markies Conway, also known as Yella Beezy, on Tuesday for the November 2020 murder of Melvin Noble, popularly known as Mo3.

Investigators say Conway hired Kewon Dontrell White to kill Noble.

Conway was arrested on Thursday on the charge of capital murder while remuneration.



On November 11, 2020, Noble was slain in a midday ambush-style shooting on Dallas' I-35.
Investigators claim that White, brandishing a rifle and donning a ski mask, approached Noble's vehicle while he was on the highway. 

When White shot Noble multiple times in the back, according to the police, Noble got out of his car and fled.



A month later, White was taken into custody and accused of murder. Due to firearm charges related to the shooting, he is currently serving a nine-year jail sentence.
