2025 NFL Free Agency: Ravens and WR DeAndre Hopkins Reach Agreement on One-Year Deal

Hopkins is set to join another Super Bowl contender.

Less than a month after appearing in his first Super Bowl with the Chiefs, DeAndre Hopkins is set to join another championship contender. The former All-Pro wide receiver has agreed to a one-year contract with the Baltimore Ravens worth up to $6 million, per CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

A potential future Hall of Famer, Hopkins wrapped up the 2024 season in Kansas City after a midseason trade from Tennessee. Over 10 games with the Chiefs, he made five starts and recorded 41 receptions for 437 yards and four touchdowns. During the postseason, he caught three passes, including a late touchdown in Kansas City's Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

In total, Hopkins played 16 games in 2024, hauling in 56 of 80 targets for 610 yards and five touchdowns. While his stats fell short of his typical production, he battled a knee injury sustained during training camp throughout the season.

As he demonstrated in Kansas City, five-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins remains a reliable playmaker when given the opportunity. In Baltimore, he’ll have the chance to catch passes from two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, who, despite his individual and team success, is still seeking his first Super Bowl appearance. Hopkins joins an offense featuring standout receiver Zay Flowers, three-time Pro Bowl tight end Mark Andrews, and future Hall of Fame running back Derrick Henry, who rushed for 1,921 yards in his first season with the Ravens.
