What Prompted the Celsius Recall?
According to a statement from High Noon, a packaging mix-up occurred at a shared facility. Empty cans printed with Celsius branding were mistakenly shipped to High Noon’s production line. These cans were then filled with vodka seltzer and packaged as if they were Celsius drinks.
Although this wasn’t Celsius' manufacturing fault, the confusion has led to a voluntary recall to protect consumers who may unknowingly drink alcohol thinking it’s a caffeine-based energy drink.
What Products Are Affected?
The recalled product is the “Celsius Astro Vibe – Sparkling Blue Razz,” which was found inside High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs. Consumers should check the bottom of the cans for the lot code “L CCB 02JUL25 2:55-3:11” and silver tops — Celsius normally uses black tops. Affected products were shipped between July 21 and 23, 2025 to retail locations in several U.S. states, including Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Virginia.
