Meghan Markle shares adorable home photo as she celebrates UK Mother's Day with Archie and Lilibet
The British holiday was observed by the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan Markle observed Mothering Sunday in the UK this weekend with a touching Instagram post that provided a unique look into her personal life with Prince Harry and their two kids, Princess Lilibet, age three, and Prince Archie, age five.
While Mother's Day is celebrated in May in the United States, the Duchess of Sussex celebrated the British holiday on March 30. Meghan posted a gorgeously styled photo of what looked to be a homemade citrus pie on her recently launched Instagram account, topped with a delicate edible flower and bright orange slices.
"Our family tradition. Mothering Sunday in the UK," Meghan captioned the photo, which delighted her followers with its elegant simplicity and nod to homely family rituals and also appeared to show the tiniest glimpse of her daughter Lilibet.
Though subtle, the picture conveyed a lot of information about the Sussexes' home life, as they spend a lot of time in the kitchen raising their kids. Meghan has shared pictures of baked goods, handwritten recipe cards, and sunny outdoor moments on her Instagram page since the beginning of 2025.
There have been unscripted photos of Archie and Lilibet splattered with flour as they bake cookies, make seasonal décor, and assist their mother in making adorable meals with a theme.
Meghan has always had a deep love for baking and cooking, and she is now relishing the chance to rekindle those passions. The 43-year-old Duchess talked candidly about the pleasures of resuming her artistic endeavors as her kids get older in a recent interview.
It is really happy when your kids reach a certain age where you are not simply playing in the sandbox with them but are practically playing in your own sandbox once more," she told People.
"It is a great feeling to be able to rediscover yourself as a woman, mother, and wife—in a way that was always there but that you might not have been able to focus on as much as you can now that your children are a little older."
